Body dysmorphic disorder is very real, and social media definitely isn’t helping anything with all of the photoshopped images, setting unreasonable physical expectations on all of us, including men. A popular misconception is that body dysmorphia is only something that women experience. That couldn’t be more false! Just another reason why we really need to minimize our time on social media, and other platforms that encourage and emphasize unrealistic, photoshopped images.
