I am sure there are pros and cons to this, but considering there are over 500,000 fast food workers in California alone, and they are having tremendous issues with recruitment and retention, anything may be worth a try. I did a web search for “2022 employee benefit trends in the restaurant industry” and found NOTHING of substance addressing it.
